I used Trend Setter a couple years ago to replace siding due to storm damage. With the wind storm we had this year, a piece that goes around my big round window came off. I called Mick and explained what happened and informed him there were a couple of other pieces around my front door that needed to be replaced. He came over to look at the piece that came off and said no problem, he would order a piece and the other couple of pieces I needed and take care of it. He did and everything looks great!

Would we recommend Trend Setter Homes & Remodeling? Absolutely! They are trustworthy and always exhibit good old fashioned work ethics.
We started working with Trend Setter in 2008. We had them replace all our windows, doors, and roof. Over the next four years, we've had them put in a bathroom and bedroom downstairs, a new air conditioner, furnace, and water heater. Our home is old so this involved moving a lot of pipes, wires, etc. The biggest project was completely redesigning our kitchen last year taking everything back to the studs and starting from scratch.
Mick Hausker is our contractor. He is meticulous in watching over every detail. All of the subcontractors were efficient, professional, and pleasant to work with. Mick gave us a timeline and did everything he could to stay on schedule. There are always going to be unexpected issues hidden behind walls. In our case, electrical challenges. These were addressed immediately with minimum delay. Mick respected our budget and often had wonderful, workable solutions to anything we wanted to add without sacrificing quality or appearance.
We have one more bathroom to remodel and you can believe our contractor will be Trend Setter!

We had a leaking roof vent. Trend Setter came out and replaced the vent with a newer, better model and replaced the shingles around the vent. Dave was very honest and trustworthy. The crew worked very quickly and the quality of the work was excellent. The final price was within the estimate range. I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

In the fall of 2011, we had the complete exterior of our home re-done. We decided that it was time to replace the old Masonite siding, replace some windows and remove the old brick from the front of the house. I wanted a cabin look and decided to add log siding and a sandstone style rock to the front of the house. I looked at a few contractors but I noticed early that I was using Trend Setter as my benchmark because of the personal representation Mick gave to us.
Mick provided us with several options for siding materials and colors, windows, and doors. He worked with a vision I had for the finished product and made it a reality.
Once work began, I quickly realized that the staff assembled by Trend Setters were craftsmen. They were not just employees working for a paycheck, but put great effort to make sure that the quality of work was visible to the untrained eye. Many of the craftsmen were second or third generations creating the vision we had for our home. They took great care of our property and one day while none of us were home actually let our dog out and had it on the leash to enjoy the day as well!
On one occasion, the stone masons worked on a Saturday so I would be able to stain the log siding before it got too cold during the day. They listened to my needs and suggestions and worked with me and my schedule to get this work done as promised.
We are very pleased with all of the work that was done to our home. We've received many compliments from friends, neighbors, and also passerby's as they watched the progress on our home. I tell everyone who asks who did the work to our home and I proudly tell them Trend Setter Homes. You will not be disappointed.

After just 10 years in my brand new home, I certainly didn't expect to need a new roof. However, due to a combination of wind damage and other factors, I was forced to deal with replacing it much sooner than I ever anticipated. Being a perfectionist, I was certain the whole ordeal would be a painful process. In reality, working with Trend Setter Homes and Remodeling was a breeze. They had everything covered, literally and figuratively. The new roof itself looks outstanding and when the insurance company messed up reimbursement, Trend Setter helped me take care of it, ensuring I wasn't left to deal with it myself.
I really liked Trend Setter's high-quality touches like color-matching finishing nails, extra layer of ice and water protection and using tarps to protect my yard and bushes. It was great having a contractor ensuring things were done professionally and done right...the first time.
